“I was inspired to go to my roots and made designs based on my Guatemalan heritage. Something I always wanted to do was make different illustrations of the Quetzal, Guatemala's national bird, which is present throughout the collection.”

About Damian Orellana

Damian Orellana is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. As an East Coast native from a big family – Damian is one of thirteen siblings – family has always been a circling source of inspiration for his work. As a designer, he is grateful to work across a diverse range of industries including fashion, food, and cannabis. 

Damian attributes his success in design to the friends and mentors throughout his journey who have offered different perspectives and advice that Damian has incorporated into his work.
